Recipe number two of National Bake Week and we have tried the special toad in the hole and it was amazing.
A totally great recipe very simple to do and the special-ness is a really great addition! We regularly have toad in the hole but it has never crossed my mind to wrap the sausages in Parma ham or bacon for that matter but oh my gosh! And to add onion on the top mmmm so good!
I’ve linked up the recipe here but didn’t have a chance to photo all the steps this time but the outcome was great! Although a little dark around the edges (don’t forget to put the timer on people)
We had it with vegetables and onion gravy a perfect addition to a very filling meal.
